A new set of binocular!

See the people and the world with a new set of binocular.

The purpose of a standard binocular is for viewing real beautiful and ugly scenes in sight, and as close and amplified as they can possibly be. You do not want to see the world and people that way.

I propose you do not view the world the way a binocular would because you would be heavily disappointed, and at the same time, you would be filled with hatred and disdain for people.

Yes, some people can be dangerous, wicked, evil, etc. Yet, some people are kind, merciful, gracious and good. I bet you do not want to constantly see the first set of people, else you maybe fed-up with life and think you had enough and then contemplate suicide.

You may want to consider the other side of people and this world; the existence of good, merciful, kind and gracious people. They are alive and have not gone extinct.

See with a different set of eyes, have a different understanding and thought of the world you live in; the quicker you do this the better for you.

A new set of binocular!

Bed of roses!

“Heaven on earth” is a choice you must make, not a place you must find. ~ Wayne Dyer

Heaven on earth can be likened to “bed of roses.” A popular idiom asserts, “As you lay your bed, so you must lie on it.

When one does things without thinking about how these same things will pile up to form their life, is regarded as foolishness, and it can be likened to making your bed with thongs. And, you know that when one sleeps on a bed full of thongs it will definitely hurt; but, it does not have to be like this.

Life becomes “bed of roses” for those who deliberately seek out “the roses” in the rain and in the storm, not minding if they will be beaten by the rain or swept by the storm (being abandoned by friends or going through struggles) but keep looking and picking whatever is found till they get enough roses (success achieved in bits till it leads to a huge break)to drop on the bed of life.

Bed of roses!

Endless possibilities...go for it!

Somebody should tell us right at the start of our lives that we are dying. Then, we might live life to the limit, every minute of every day. Do it! I say. Whatever you want to do, do it now! ~ Michael Landon

Somebody does not necessarily have to tell you that you are dying in other for you to live the life the way you are supposed to.

Whatever you think you can accomplish, go ahead and get it done; with this attitude, success possibilities are endless.

On your quest for success, there should be no wall or impediment to your search, if there is, you will definitely surmount because of the right attitude. Additionally, be rest assured you can get to any place and achieve anything you so desire; nothing can possibly stop you, if you believe nothing can.

Endless possibilities...go for it!

Do likewise!

Commander-in-Chiefs' do very good work on the nation or country they govern. They do not allow aliens invade and take over their own.

Do likewise. You are in charge of your life and how it turns out. Do a good job in governing and caring for it. Stir your entire life the right direction.

If it seem hard, do not be shy to seek help or guidance immediately from your mentor or persons you greatly adore, whose lives are worth emulating.

Do likewise!

It causes them to blossom!

“The most precious gift we can offer others is our presence. When mindfulness embraces those we love they will bloom like flowers.” ~ Thich Nhat Hanh

If people who err are given another chance, they will do better.

We should all learn to give people another chance instead of condemning, writing them off or giving-up on them.

Being there for these people who are tagged “dumb” is the best gift which can yield positive result, and which will in-turn cause them to blossom.

It causes them to blossom!

Nothing...is irrelevant!

Listen earnestly to anything your children want to tell you, no matter what. If you don’t listen eagerly to the little stuff when they are little, they won’t tell you the big stuff when they are big because to them all of it has always been big stuff. ~ Catherine M. Wallace

Listen! Listen!! Listen!!! Pay good attention, for nothing anyone says is irrelevant, just listen and find some gold therein.

Listening is a skill, and it is something everyone should covet. Listening to “rants” or “foolish” words from “dump” persons or listening to “brilliant” talk from “smart” persons all sum up to make a listening person a leader or one in the making.

People who listen a lot are full of wisdom and always have intelligent inputs when occasion demands their contribution; they are always on top of their game and on top in life too.

Nothing...is irrelevant!

Have patience with yourself!

"Have patience with all things, but chiefly have patience with yourself. Do not lose courage in considering your own imperfections but instantly set about remedying them -- every day begin the task anew." ~ Saint Francis de Sales

Do not for any reasons condemn yourself; that you made it thus far is a very good sign you will surely get to your desired end.

Be proud of your accomplishment at the moment, and be patient in seeing other accomplishment materialize; it may take longer than expected but just keep working.

Have patience with yourself!

Deeds not words!

“Deeds not Words” ~ Bernord Hor

While it is one thing to say or believe you can be successful in life, it is another thing to consistently do something or engage in something that is not only worthwhile, but engaging in that which will trigger that needed force that will cause the light of success to beam towards your direction; one single beam at a time till several beams converge to form a single brilliant and strong blistering light of success.

Bottom-line: do something (no matter how small) about your declaration or muttering of success words, don’t just say or mutter success words!

Deeds not words!

Fight that fight!

“The heights by great men reached and kept were not attained in sudden flight but, they while their companions slept, they were toiling upwards in the night.” ~ Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

To tell the truth, every human on the face of the earth has a challenge; be it the wealthy or the poor. Just because you are going through some challenges does not mean your life is in the balance. If you think your life is in the balance because of a challenge, you are starting to fail.

Victory only comes to you when you keep your head up by constantly reminding and telling yourself; it’s going to be fine, and at the same time working deliberately with all seriousness to get to that desired end.

That is the way to go, else you will start losing the victory. No-one deliberately wants to fail in life, but when one allows themselves to be soaked up by a challenge or challenges, it is an indirect call for failure.

In your quest for success, fight that fight of survival till what you desire materialize.

Fight that fight!

Hold perseverance by the wrist!

Never ever lose hope in your quest for success; the moment you lose hope, your dreams will fade like a vapor, this will in turn release the thoughts of suicide or hopelessness that will ultimately take you to a point of no return.

You are not alone. Hold perseverance by the wrist, go through rough times with it; it will help ensure your head is up, and will keep your temperature cool. Remember, it can only get better!

...better than you used to be!

"“True nobility is not about being better than anyone else its about being better than you used to be.” ~ Dr. Wayne Dyer

Believe it or not, everyone can out-do their past level of success.

Actually, things will always get better regardless of whether or not the odds are against us or for us. If the odds are against us and we give it sometime, things will definitely get better; only be strong.

Every wobbly step count!

“The elevator to success is out of order. You’ll have to use the stairs…. One step at a time.” ~ Rande Wilson

Believe in what you can achieve, and start doing something toward achieving that which you believe you can achieve regardless of the fact that the odds are not to your favor.

psychologically and emotionally, you may be at your lowest but, encourage yourself daily. Take a step even if your limb is weak, by so doing you will make your limb stronger; remember every wobbly step count towards success.

It pays to be that one!

“A pure heart does not demean the spirit of an individual, it, instead, compels the individual to examine his spirit.” ~ Criss Jami

Being mean is associated with evil and evil is the brother to malicious intent. Why be mean?

There are several examples of mean practices, one of them is; when one person laughs scornfully at another or ridicules another in the midst of other people, for sheer pleasure, and with the intent of belittling them.

No! You do not want to take pleasure belittling people. You also do not want to be the one who makes another human feel bad about life or themselves; you want to be the one whose bowel flows with mercy and compassion. It pays to be that one whose bowel flows with mercy and compassion!

It pays to be that one!

Master of Success!

“If we are not allowed to deal with small problems, we will be destroyed by slightly larger ones. When we come to understand this, we live our lives not avoiding problems, but welcoming them as challenges that will strengthen us so that we can be victorious in the future.” ~ Jim Stovall

On your quest for success, do not shy away from challenges, embrace them as they come; they come to make you strong, and they prepare you for the next level of success.

The more challenge you overcome or conquer the stronger and better you will become, and eventually you will become the master of success. Correct?

Family close, friends’ closer!

“Relatives share the same bloodline, but FAMILY shares your successes, pains, ambitions, celebrations, failures, values, love and so much more. I realize that many friends have become Family and some relatives just are not. (Analogy: Blood scatters everywhere, when Family runs together...When I thought I needed "Blood" to survive, I realized that what I really needed was "Family"!)” ― Gaye Miller 2012

Some people may be in the category of persons who have family that back them up when they go through financial or other challenges, while others may be in the category of those persons who have friends that back them up when they go through financial or other challenges.

The truth is, family are always going to be there and will always be there when you go through thick and thin; some may be able to help when you are experiencing the bad/challenging times and may not be willing to help, and some may be willing to help in bad/challenging times, but may not be able. Some may rejoice when you are going the right direction, some may not. In spite of all these, family is family.

That is not to confirm that friends are any better or to confirm that “friends” are always able to help; especially when one do not have the “right” friends. When one has the “right” friends they would be able to assist in terms of financial support, words of encouragement or advice to go through the bad/challenging times and come out strong. In addition, some so-called “friends”, are not friends that one should keep close because they only tend to be there when “all is well”, while some “friends” become “family”.

Some people seem to fall under the category of persons who have “good” families and “good” friends who will normally help them go through the “bad/challenging” times; all well and good.

But, in all do not underestimate the power of friends. Your wisdom is to keep your family close, and your friends closer.

Family close, friends’ closer!

The future is here and now!

“This day will never come again and anyone who fails to eat and drink and taste and smell it will never have it offered to him again in all eternity. The sun will never shine as it does today...But you must play your part and sing a song, one of your best. ” ~ Hermann Hesse

Stop looking at the future like its far away. The future is each new dawn; so you must make the most of your today.

If you say, “I will do this and that in the future” and you are not doing anything today to get to that place, whatever plans you have may not materialize especially if you are not doing anything tangible to get there knowing each dawn is the future.

So, do all you can here and now, and stop thinking the future is some abstract number of years. Remember, yesterday is gone and will never come back.

Stick to the plan!

“Just pick a goal and stick to it; no big complicated secret.” ~ Richelle E. Goodrich

Hey folks, you have a long term goal, isn’t it? Your wisdom is to work on some short term goals that will help you build gradually to that long term goal. Nobody who is successful today made it overnight; they worked towards success incrementally. All you need do is, stick to the plan and overtime you will get there.

Make someone's day worthwhile!

“For a permanent solution to easing tension and soothe the rough waters of the world that cause people to go to drugs, drinking, gambling, pornography, overeating, or anything that will give them some temporary relief, you can’t beat the support and encouragement of a friend.” ~ Jonathan Anthony Burkett

Each passing day, someone somewhere goes through or experiences something that causes them to behave beyond normal or act in ways that they never acted before. That’s why it is very important not to poke fun at people or frown at people for no just cause, because you may not really know how your frown is impacting them.

Learn to make someone’s day worthwhile – a single smile and encouragement will go a long way, does not cost a dime, and will never hurt.

You are important!

“There are so many stupid things that steal that purpose from us. The stupid things that you believe a lie that we‘re not as important as we really are. That our life isn’t as important as it really is. It’s important to the people that you love, it’s important to the people that you will love in the future, it’s important to the world around you and it’s so important that you fulfill the purpose that only you can fulfill the way that you can fulfill that.” ~ Lacey Mosley

Disregard words like, "you are worthless", "you are up to no good"

When you hear those words from someone, replace them with these words in your mind, "I am important", "There is a lot the world has not discovered yet about me", "I am needed and wanted"

YES, YOU ARE NEEDED! YES, YOUR CONTRIBUTION TO THE GOOD OF YOUR WORLD IS VITAL!

The world is waiting to see you rise and shine; you can do this!

Why the competition!

“How would your life be different if…You walked away from gossip and verbal defamation? Let today be the day…You speak only the good you know of other people and encourage others to do the same.” ~ Steve Maraboli

Everyone experiences victory and defeat in varying degrees. In other words, until someone tells you what they are going through, you almost think you are the only one who is experiencing some difficulty in this life.

Believe it or doubt it, nobody is superior, and nobody is inferior. We all are earnestly looking for various ways to get ahead in life each day. Stop tearing others, start building others.

What I am trying to convey is that, there is no cause for competition, and that everyone is here on pilgrimage; learning how to make the most of each day should be our utmost priority, and making the most of each day does not include bad-mouthing and slandering others. Correct?

Why the competition!
