Do you give people the benefit of the doubt?

These are times when families reach out to loved ones and guide them through life and in the time of difficulty. There are also times when loved ones are judged by their family even at the slightest misstep. These individuals being reached out to sometimes take for granted the care and love shown them and they mistake it for either being "over protective" or exhibiting "paranoia". Yes! Everyone wants their loved ones safe while on the streets but when these ones being protected escape from our grip should we let them go or chase after them? It is important to chase after them with words, by not relenting in giving advice, but it is also important to give them the benefit of the doubt, by so doing, you give them room to make their own mistakes and learn from them--although some mistakes can be costly, it is fine as well. On my quest for success, i will be abreast with the fact that, there is nothing wrong with giving people especially loved ones the benefit of the doubt so they can make their own mistakes, learn from it and move on as well.
